Paceville Location

• Paceville is a suburb of St. Julian's, is located on the peninsular, on a lowbut steepish hill, between St. Julian's Bay (Spinola Bay) and St Georges Bay.

Paceville Description

• Paceville is an area on the norther side of St. Julian's, but it has an entially different nightlife to that of St Julians as follows:
  • Paceville - Vibrant lively & energetic with loud music, for the young and young at heart
  • St Julian's -Has a very interesting and generally more sedate nightlife for those requireing a more relaxed nightlife
  • There are fair number of bars and clubs that are exceptions to the general description above in both areas.
• Paceville is one of the main tourist areas with holiday accommodation, hotels, aparthotels and apartments
• Paceville caters for all age groups,  with:
  • Top star rated hotels mainly located in quieter areas of Paceville
  • And for the young Paceville is Malta's nightlife capital
• Paceville has a very high concentration of accommodation, bars, clubs, restaurants and fast food outlets.
• The side streets have many tourist and fashion clothing shops along with small food and drink supermarkets.
• Parking is difficult in Paceville

Paceville Beaches

• There are no beaches at Paceville but there is a small sandy beach at St Georges bay only a short walk away

  • The newish Portomaso marina see below
• There is a small section of flatish rocky seafront between the 2 hotels
• St Julian's bay is only a short walk

Portomaso marina

This is a new harbour cut into the cliffs The sides are lined with the hilton hotel, apartments, bars, restaurants and shops on a few different levels.  There are 3 or 4 floor levels between street level and the marina and the sea The harbour sides or other levels are reached by steep steps or lifts. Shopping in Paceville

• The Bay St centre is a newly built shopping centre that includes a hotel, restaurants, bars, fashion and souvenir shops. Events often take place in the centre on a week end
• The side streets have many tourist and fashion clothing shops along with small food and drink supermarkets.

Dragonara Casino - Dragonara Point
